Anthem of CREC—“Trailbreaker”
On March 11, the closure of the central section of the continuous beam of the longest bridge along the China-Laos Railway was completed, two days ahead of schedule. The project is undertaken by China Railway No.5 Engineering Group (CREC-5).

Located in Vientiane City in central Laos, the bridge has a total length of 7,528.56 meters, including 48 meters of continuous beam mid-span, and 231 piers. Construction of the bridge began on July 27, 2020, and to date, a total of 3,844.5 meters have been completed, accounting for 51.1 percent. (By Xie Yongbin and Xu Haole)
