Recently, Nepal’s Sunkoshi Marin Diversion Multipurpose Project (SMDMP) jointly constructed by China Overseas Engineering Group and China Railway No.2 Group received a thank-you letter from the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation of Nepal, in which the design concept of the project segments, the production technology of the segment construction and the phased progress made in the construction were praised.

According to the letter, since the project management team entered the site, it has promoted construction and production in an orderly manner, completed the construction of TBM launching platform, underground tunnel, sand and gravel plant, project camp, labor camp, segment plant and laboratory with high quality and efficiency, and promoted the process of TBM assembly and segment production efficiently. They fully affirm the segment design concept and construction production technology of the project department, and express gratitude to the project management team for its positive attitude, professional level and phased achievements.
