On September 20, the China Railway No.5 Engineering Group completed the construction of the second phase of the G0611 Zhangye-Wenchuan Expressway Qinghai Bianmen expressway Project.

The second phase of Bianmen Expressway is 150.08 kilometers long, starting from Biandukou, Minle County, Zhangye City, Gansu Province, at the junction of Gansu and Qinghai, and ending at Menyuan County, Qinghai Province. The whole line is constructed according to the standard of two-way four-lane expressway. The total length of the first bid section of the Bianmen expressway Phase II Project constructed by China Railway No.5 Engineering Group is 32.054 kilometers, starting from Ebao Town, Qilian County, Qinghai Province, and ending in Menyuan Hui Autonomous County, with the project located between 3100 and 3600 meters above sea level. Cold climate, large temperature difference between morning and evening, strong solar radiation and short effective construction period are many difficulties for project construction.

In order to ensure the smooth completion of the water-stabilized paving project, the project department organizes scientifically from the aspects of technology, personnel, equipment and site management, strictly controls the entry of raw materials, and strictly controls the mixing, transportation, paving, rolling, testing and curing of the water-stabilized mixture. After testing, all indicators meet the specifications and design requirements.

Bianmen Expressway is another important provincial passageway in Qinghai Province. The project construction is of great significance to improve the national and Qinghai expressway network, promote the development and utilization of tourism resources along the line, and promote regional economic and social development.
