On September 6, the China Enterprise Confederation and the China Enterprise Directors Association held a press conference in Beijing to release the list of "2022 Top 500 Chinese Enterprises" to the public for the 21st consecutive time, and CREC ranked 10th.

The list of "2022 Top 500 Chinese Enterprises" is based on international practice, taking the business income of enterprises in 2021 as the entry criteria, and is released after being approved by the expert committee. The list shows that the business income of the 2022 top 500 Chinese enterprises has achieved a relatively high growth rate, with the total business income reaching 102.48 trillion yuan, an increase of 14.08% over the previous year. The total assets were 372.53 trillion yuan, an increase of 8.43% from a year earlier. The entry threshold of the top 500 Chinese enterprises in 2022 has been raised to 44.63 billion yuan, an increase of 13.74%, making it the year in which the absolute value of the entry threshold of the top 500 Chinese enterprises has increased the most since it was released 20 years ago.

In 2021, CREC's main economic indicators rose against the trend, with a new contract value of 2729.32 billion yuan, an increase of 4.75% over the same period last year. The total business income was 1073.28 million yuan, an increase of 10.11% over the same period the previous year, breaking through the trillion yuan mark for the first time. The total profit was 37.59 billion yuan, an increase of 12.59% over the same period last year. The scale of total assets reached 1361.73 million yuan, an increase of 13.47% over the same period last year, and the indicators reached a new record high. At the same time, the company has completed a large number of key national projects such as the China-Laos Railway, Lhasa-Nyingchi Railway, and Zhangjihuai High-speed Railway, created a series of "national heavy equipment" such as the first domestic plateau alpine large-diameter hard rock roadheader "Snow Pioneer Shield Machine", and continuously polished the brand image of "Trailbreaker" with practical achievements.
